    No words to describe, and all I can say is devestating!  Obviously there is no good time to lose someone and especially a child, but at the holidays is simply horrible.  I feel so bad for all those involved.

    I had no idea what was going on when I got a text message from my SIL this morning, "It is not John's school. He is ok, they are just in precautionary lockdown. Will let you know more when there is more info." My nephew goes to a neighboring elementary school. I can't even imagine what those families are going through right now and what would drive someone to take such actions on children. It makes me sick.

    This is terrible. I haven't seen any tv news yet, but the online sources (NYT, HuffPost, msnbc.com) are showing tragic and upsetting photos.  My prayers are with this community.

    I just read an updated article, that the gunman was from Jersey, didn't say where.  His mother was a teacher that the school and she is amoung the dead.  Also a dead body was found at his house.
