I am stuck on what to get my very wonderful H for Christmas. I don't want to spend very much money because we just dropped a crap load of money a few weeks ago for wood floors. And I am not expecting a gift from him. Maybe a card. But I'd like do something meaningful, maybe. Any ideas?
Re: Need an idea
I agree with this idea OR another idea that is similar (saw on pinterest.) What if you made a little book or get a jar and put date night ideas in there? That way whenever yall want a date night or things get crazy you can go pick one.
I like the date night idea as well.
You could also get him an ornament with your names on it that says 'Our First Christmas, 2012'
We were hoping to go away for a weekend, but that's just not in the financial cards, so I made H a coupon book for all sorts of things he can redeem throughout the year. From filling his gas tank to a date night with take out and the movie of his choice to naughtier things ;-)
For his birthday I got H a really cool nice everyday watch from Nordstrom's rack. Don't know your budget but it was like $45 and he gets compliments on it all the time. Leather band, metal face- Disel brand and it was like 70% off.
Oh and tie tacks can be classic and not too expensive.
