Re: x/p Poll: If you could go anywhere in the US

  • Depending on your interest and time of travel my top 2 would be Hawaii or an Alaskan cruise because I have never been to either place. Some places I have been and really enjoyed that may fit your group - Florida Keys, New England (VT, NH) in the fall, Smokey Mtn NP, Baltimore and DC

  • Depending on everyone's interests:

    -Hawaii

    -Napa Valley

  • Well I realize this will make me sound extremely lame, but if I was completely honest, I would say Orlando / Disneyworld.  Well maybe not in the summer months, but almost any other time I would go.

We went to DW in October and all I can say is that we got bit by the bug.  The whole family had a fantastic time and we are itching to go back.

Alaska would be a close second.  If traveling in the summer time, than Alaska would be our #1 pick.

So funny! That was what me (32), MH (33), my brother (29), & his wife's (30) suggested! We think it'd be SO fun!! Get this, my sister (35) who is the only one in the family who has kids (5 & 7) doesn't want to go there! What the heck??

Also, I should have specified, the Continental US only Smile

  • Hawaii is always amazing. We took our kids and my parents their last year and the kids loved it. They were younger. I would also suggest Sonoma County, there is so much to do, even for the kids and it's so beautiful. If everyone is down and you haven't been, Disneyworld is always great!
  • I think an Alaskan cruise would be great if none of you have been.  It's a great trip, and there's a lot of variety to accommodate varied interests.
