Help me choose my next tropical vacation

We're looking to plan our 2013 vacation and I need ideas. We'd be traveling from D.C. and want something within a 5-6 hour flight. We like a really, really nice beach, tropical surroundings, really nice accomodations, activities during the day and a little night life. It doesn't have to be anything crazy but we aren't early to bed type of people. We also don't mind AI and would prefer an adults only resort however, we aren't totally opposed to resorts with kids. We've already been to the following islands/mexico and would like to try something different:

Island time:

Aruba, Bahamas, Cancun, Riviera Maya, Montego Bay Jamaica, St. Thomas (w/a day trip to St. John), Dominican Republic,

Cruise Stops (limited island time was spent so we're not opposed to visiting these again for an extended stay):

Cozumel, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Turks & Caicos, Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Maartin

I'm basically open to any and all suggestions. Also, please feel free to share what you loved about the destination. Oh and our budget would be somewhere around the 2k-4k range for at least a week if possible. Thanks.

Given your budget, I'm thinking that heading back to Cozumel may be the best idea. I think the three destinations that would fit best within your budget would be Jamaica, Cancun/Riviera Maya, or the DR. There is a new Secrets property in Cozumel and a Palace Resort. Or, if you wanted to max out your flight time, check out the Secrets properties in Los Cabos. I think one may not be open yet, but Secrets Marquis is.
