What was the best present you have ever received? Worst?
What is the best gift you bought, this year, for someone? Least favorite?

One of the best gift I ever received was a pair of hockey skates several years ago from a boyfriend. I grew up playing and he knew I missed playing, so he bought me a pair of skates. It was a really sweet gesture.
The worst gift (from same bf above) was a toaster oven. Okay, I was in my first apartment, but really. A toaster oven? Lol.
I honestly can't recall a time I bought someone a killer gift. Sad, I know. I'm sure I gave someone something really great, I just don't remember!
What was the best present you have ever received?
H gave me our puppy for Christmas last year. It was a complete surprise and definitely the best gift ever
Worst?
hmmm, I don't know. I usually like the gifts I get.
I guess when I was younger and I'd get shower gels in scents that I didn't really like... plus I don't really use shower gels.
What is the best gift you bought, this year, for someone?
H's aunt and uncle were married this September, and we got them one of those wood signs with their last last name that says 'Established 2012'. I don't think it's something they're expecting so they'll be surprised. I tend to think those are the best kind of gifts- the ones you like but that you don't see coming. But maybe I just think this is a good gift because I want one for myself, haha
And also the 12 days of Christmas gifts that I've been giving to H because his face lights up every time I give him his gift of the day and he was definitely surprised by it.
Least favorite?
We're giving our grandparents a framed photo of us from the wedding because they insisted that that is what they wanted... it's not that I think it's a bad gift but I feel like it's a gift 'about us' and not 'for them'... my brain works in strange ways maybe... but it's what they want so it's what we're giving them.
What was the best present you have ever received?
This will probably change after this year because I have a feeling H is going to get me some great things. I think the best gift I ever got was either my karoke machine I got when I was like 13 from my mom or last year when H's step mom get me a throw blanket with a M on it.
Worst?
I mean I always like my gifts but I do have to agree with the bath sets. Also SIL got my a scrapbook set one year which was fine but I felt like she put no thought into it.
What is the best gift you bought, this year, for someone?
I am super excited about all of H's gifts I know he will love them. But also we got my mom an open heart necklace that says mom on it and I know she is going to love it.
Least favorite?
We got H's best friend and his wife a visa gift card. I wish we could have done more for them BUT we have to ship their gifts to Wyoming and we already buy bigger things for their son (H's godson) so it's just easier to get them a gift card.
What was the best present you have ever received?
My promise ring that later turned into my engagement ring! I ask my H then BF for a silver cladduagh ring...he shows up with this amazing white gold ring with a small stone in the heart, later switched out for a diamond. I was completely shocked because I thought he get me like a 50 dollar cute little typical cladduagh!
Worst?
I am like PP I like most gifts even if there really not something I need or want I usually find away to do something with them.
What is the best gift you bought, this year, for someone?
Our parents are going to be excited about having their own wedding book personalized to each family. I also got my aunt this Albert Einstein Key chain that I know she is going to LOVE!
Least favorite?
I don't like these gloves we bought for H's brother. I felt we should of been more generous, but its his brother and he picked out the gift...we did also get him a case of good beer so it will even it out. I did a lot of gift cards this year but everyone I buy for needs money more then things.
Best Gift- 2 years ago, I asked my mom to get me practical stuff for what would be my new apartment. She went above and beyond and was a huge help
Worst Gift- Like PP, I don't really look at it like that but I agree with the bath sets... I am not really a fan. I usually give them away when someone is like I love that one! Also, I got a "W" Christmas ornament and stamp this year... The "W" was for my old last name... I was a little disappointed.
Best gift I bought this year was for H. He made a comment about wanting the Dragonball Z series on DVD but he wouldn't get it because it was so expensive. I bought him the first five. He is going to get super excited.
My least favorite purchased gift was the stuff I got my dad. I had to make it small enough to ship and he would give me any ideas. The one he did, the local hot sauce he loves, I was sad about. One of the bottles shattered in transit. All three were packed and wrapped together and only one was broken.
What was the best present you have ever received?
- Best present ever received would be... my hope chest from my parents. Or the Eeyore lamp I got last year. The eeyore lamp because I kept making a big deal about how I wanted it and it was super cute, and I know my dad was the one that talked mom into it, and went out and bought it for me... and then he passed just before Christmas last year, so it's something i'll have forever... It was kinda funny, because all of the presents last year had "dad picked this" written all over them... My hope chest becuase it's a really nice piece of furniture and something I can keep forever
Worst?
I can't think of any terrible Christmas presents... Worst present ever? the USED baking sheets I got from my great aunt as a shower gift lol
What is the best gift you bought, this year, for someone?
Aren't really buying too many gifts this year. Our trip to Disney was mine and H's xmas present for each other... however there are a couple things i'm going to get him for his stocking...a little skid-steer (like matchbox car type size) that he'll get a kick out of... he keeps saying he wants a new skid-steer so i'm going to get him one
Least favorite?
Since we aren't buying much I don't think I have a least favorite. Still not sure what i'm getting my mom...
Best Present: when I was 13 or so my parents got me tickets to see the Backstreet Boys. I was so excited I called my BF right away and her mom had also gotten her tickets so we were going together.
Worst Present: MIL used to buy me a lot of gold jewelry, but I don't wear gold. It was really awkward for a while until I asked H to politely say something.
Favorite gift this year: In Hs vows he referenced Barney from HIMYM, but he got the quote wrong. He said Awesome instead of Legendary (stupid, but I like to pick on him for it). So last night I came up with the idea of making him a poster of different Legendary sayings Barney's said throughout the series.
Least favorite gift: What we got for BIL & SIL don't really thrill me. They gift cards so I know they'll use them, but they're not exciting or special by any means.
