How has everyone been?! We've all kind of dropped off the face of the earth!

It's been crazy here!! Concert season for DH (he's an orchestra teacher) and we have been finishing up Christmas shopping/wrapping before heading to my parents this weekend. I agree though that it has been pretty quite here.
DH and I will be heading to my parents house this Friday after I get off of work (he's done on Wednesday). We have his family's Christmas on Saturday and then my family Christmas Eve/Christmas morning. The rest of our break (DH goes back Jan 2 and I go back to work on the 3rd) will just be spent hanging out with friends and family from back home. Still debating if DH and I want to open gifts for each other at our house before or after the holidays.
It's been crazy here too.
We had our house tented this weekend so H and I spent the night at his parents house. My little dog had a trip to the ER and had one staple put on the top of her head.
I stayed in all weekend with my little one so she could be watched over.
We still have no gas so I haven't been able to shower or cook.
It's been miserable.
My credit card bill has skyrocketed and I can't figure out why and I still haven't finished buying Christmas presents.
Omg! That's awful! You're having a terrible time right now...I hope things start to go better for you now.
We've been super busy, too. My new job is so high paced and so different from my last. I don't really have time to come on here during the day now. I'll try and make time. :-)
We're spending our first married Christmas in our new house. H's parents are coming in for the weekend and my parents are coming over. It's going to be nice having everyone together.
