Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Boss just told me he might cut my hrs...
My boss just came into my office and told me that he was talking to his wife (she's not technically an employee but she's been involved recently since we moved the office and made some other changes) about me cutting down to 30hrs/week.
They want me to come in 3 days/week and then work from home 6 hrs total for the other 2 days.
While this sounds great and I'll have time to do other stuff, I'm really not happy about loosing that much of my pay.
My boss said that it seems as though I'm not AS busy as I was when we first moved and my responsibilities increased, which is true, there are days when I have a ton to do and others where I don't have much.
I still havent told him that I'm expecting, and I guess I should be happy so that when this little one arrives, I'll be working less and still keeping my health insurance and other benefits, its just I was hoping to get as much money saved before July, so that I could cut back then and be ok...ugh this kinda sucks and I literally almost cried when he told me....

It's getting to be the slow season for catering until March or April but I'm going to call the woman at the catering co. I work for and let her know that I'll be more available on weekdays and weekends.
I'm happy I still have a job and health insurance, but i'm loosing $200/week in pay...guess I'll have to learn to cut back big time on stuff and get used to it.

Crap. This sucks!!!
If only we lived closer together. I honestly went home last night crying and so upset because I literally run circles and have soooo much going on all the time that I cannot fit it all into a days time and maintain my sanity. And my boss just keeps wondering if we're that busy? I literally laughed out loud when he said that!
I wish I could hand you those pick up hours you need and you could help me out with taking some of my extra hours. Want to move to SD?!
