Sesame Place newbie

Bought the Groupon a few weeks ago and plan to go next week when my parents are visiting from OOT. DS is 13 months and none of us have ever been. Hit me with your best tips.

Re: Sesame Place newbie

  • Just my thoughts from going for the Christmas thing a few weeks ago.

Don't put anything valuable in your stroller because you'll have to leave it alone in several locations.

Get to the shows early, they filled up quickly and they had to turn people away.  Our favorite show was the Abby one where she learns about christmas.  It was a smaller theater and it had more characters than the others.  But Emma liked all of them...that's what we did most of the day, shows and the parade.

The food is very overpriced and meh.  If you aren't staying later than dinner, I would suggest just eating elsewhere, we brought in some of our own snacks and a drink for Emma.

Definitely hit the parade, it's super cute, don't get too close to the beginning of the parade or it will be past you before the singing and dancing is half over.

Have fun!  We had a great time, Emma was amazed.

  • Thanks Lando!

  • Park at Macy's and walk it.  Paying $15 to park is such a rip off.
