Favorite Christmas cookies?
So I made some cutouts, and some spritz cookies so far. I have one more Kev requested we try from my latest Every Day food mag (a pistachio short bread with strawberry jelly sandwiched between them) but I think I need one more for my Christmas desert tray. Suggestions? No nuts allowed

Re: Favorite Christmas cookies?
I think most of my favs have peanut butter in them.
I made these smores cookies the other year but they were very labor intensive. Let me see if I can dig out the recipe.
oreo balls are always top of the list too.
I made two new ones this year that I think are pretty good. Chocolate thumb prints with raspberry jelly (recipe from the chew)
and ginger-doodles (or snicker-snaps)-you take a ball of gingersnap dough and a ball of snickerdoodle dough and you roll them together. It's actually are really good combo and the name is fun to say.
A new favorite I made last year for first time were raspberry thumbprint cookies. We usually just make MIL's sugar cookie cutouts and they are the best sugar cookies I've ever had. Although this year I think dh messed something up because they are not good, haha!!
my absolute favorites my mom makes and they are apricot mini roll cookies.
cut outs are my fav...
