Curacao

We are thinking about heading to Curacao in February.  If you have been there can provide a brief review of the island?  Also, if you have been there and recommend a different island altogether, let me know!  We have already been to the Yucatan Peninsula, Cuba, Anguilla, and St. Martens.

TIA!

Re: Curacao

  • curacao is one of (if not #1) my favorite islands. dh and i spent a week there in early march a few years ago and loved it. it's quieter than other islands, has outstanding snorkeling and diving, a super unique feel (which is really lacking in it's sister aruba), great restaurants, easy to rent a car and get around on your own...i could go on and on. since you gave no criteria for what you're looking for it's hard to rec other islands
Friday, December 28 2012. The day I had emergency appendix surgery in Mexico and quit smoking. Proof that everything has a good side!! DH and I are happily child-free!! No due date or toddler tickers here!! my read shelf:
Alison's book recommendations, favorite quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)

Thanks.  Our criteria are pretty simple: good snorkelling, a bit of history, fun nightlife, good eats, and some adventure.  We are also amateur photographers, so anything that is visually pleasing is a bonus.  If you can think of anything else to add based on these criteria, please feel free!

    Thanks again!
