CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER IDEAS
I'm hosting Christmas Eve dinner for my in-laws for the first time. My husband and I extended the invitation without realizing we are both working that day. I need menu ideas for things I can throw together quickly without looking like we were rushed. I would love ideas for things that can be prepped tomorrow so that when we get home, we can quickly throw them in the oven.

Some families do Italian, either spaghetti or lasagna - would that work for you? Salad and breadsticks and you're done.
"New York Times" salmon is special but easy. Serve with rice and a salad.
Homemade soup and grilled cheese sandwiches? I made this last night and we really liked it. It's a one dish meal - brown the beef in the same pot you make the soup in. It's super quick to throw together.
