Just Checking In
Just wanted to check in and let everyone know I'm doing ok. Bleeding finally stopped on Monday and today is my doctors appointment to confirm what I already know. Thankfully it was totally painless for me, I read and was told that it can be very painful for some women. It just sucks.
I was telling H how many of you have read Game of Thrones and you guys loved it when we saw that we have all the episodes on demand on HBO so H and I started watching it. I'm still trying to get into it and H has become obsessed. He literally watched 4 episodes yesterday. I told him he should try reading the book but he told me that he cant see boobies in the books. Sigh, men....

Christmas was good here. MIL framed our wedding invitation, program and the newspaper article. It looks really pretty and I think that was my favorite gift. What was your's?
My new pillow. I have been having major sleeping issues with neck aches for about 3 years now and I dont know why I havent though to get a new pillow. BIL actually got it for me (it was on my wishlist though) and you add water to it and it bends to your neck but still maintains its firmness. Its the best pillow I have ever had and my neck no longer bothers me. Here is the link to it

I'm glad you didn't have any trouble. My coworker just went through a m/c and ended up in triage. When can you start to TTC again?
Christmas was great! I ended up with alot of nice things. My parents gave us some nice chairs for the pool, MIL and FIL actually listened to DH and bought something I wanted.
I don't mind if she comes up with gifts on her own, but some of them lately have been wacky. My FAVORITE gift was from DH. He bought a picture frame with 13 slots. He put in a picture of Madison for each month then put a family picture in the big 13th frame. Made me cry.
ETA- I'm also hoping the doctor tells me everything cleared out on its own so that I dont need a D&C...I REALLY dont want to go through that.

Our Xmas was really nice. Because my mom was here the weekend before, it was pretty relaxed and not too busy.
I don't know what my favorite present was..probably a few gift cards to go out with DH, knowing that the gifter will watch L while we go out
Glad to hear you are doing ok. I have been through it, so I can understand. Hugs. My favorite gift was new boots and a gift card, so I can go get some clothes to wear with my boots!

Back from the doctor and as I suspected the pregnancy is over but he cleared me for everything and he said we can start ttc again whenever we want. I think I will wait to ttc until I at least get my first period this way I know the timing of everything vs just flying blind.
I'm feeling very good about everything and very optimistic. I think that if I didnt go through this experience I wouldnt have had the opportunity to connect with certain people and learn something new. Of course its always sad when I think about what could have been but now I look forward to the future and moving on.
