So...tell us! How did you find out? Was your DH with you when you found out? If not, how did you tell him? Why I am interested in this, I have no idea but I am so curious. I always thought we were firmly together in the no baby camp but..I am just thrilled! Thrilled lady!!!

I kept this one to myself. The only people who know we were trying are my three good friends. I didn't want opinions on how to make it work (you mean you put the penis IN the vagina? Whaaaaa?) or any stupid wive's tales about it. I also just felt it was pretty personal info. As for not being in the no baby camp...sorry about that. We were very much in the no baby camp for a long time. I guess the hormones finally kicked in.
Found out yesterday morning, actually. I woke up puking Christmas morning at like 12:30 but didn't think anything of it. My friends and H of course said pregnant but I was doubtful. It was a stressful month for many reasons. But, three separate tests came up positive so there you go.
We've been trying for a little while. No one except my close friends and H know this, so hush for those on facebook, please
It's just too early to tell many people, since I would rather avoid having to un-tell, if that happens.
As for how I told H...He was in his office, I was in my bathroom. I took the three separate tests and then said holy sh!t. I took the digital in and showed him and he just kind of slyly smiled and grunted a little. We're not a tears/jump for joy/get super excited kind of couple, so we just started talking about tax returns, insurance, when to tell my boss, when to tell the family, etc.
So, that's the story. It was really hard to not tell my mom when I saw her today for Christmas. But, if I tell her this early, it'll just mean that many more weeks of her being worried about me and my health, because she's like that.
Oh, and thanks for the congrats
EDD is Sept. 7, according to online calculators. I don't meet with my doctor until the end of January, and I'll likely take my last pregnancy test tomorrow or Saturday just to make sure.
