What's going on?
We have nothing going on tonight.
Tomorrow we have various visitors throughout the day. I believe BIL is staying for dinner.
Sunday I have to food shop but first I am doing the Newtown 5k/Fun Run with Jess and Heather.
Monday I have to work, boo. We may go up to my sister's early for snacks and pizza. I believe we will be safely ensconsed in our home by about 8pm.
Re: Weekend/NYE plans
Not much in the way of plans. DH takes his radiation treatment today and then will go to live at his parents house (they're away on vacation) for the next week since he can't be in contact with people. I am going to go visit him on NYE and bring him whatever he wants to eat. He's been on a low iodine diet to prepare for the treatment and Monday will be the first day he can go back to eating whatever he'd like. It should be an interesting NYE though since I can't get close to him. We'll probably spend it watching TV from opposite sides of the living room.
Other than that, I plan to enjoy my time alone. I've got a few chores I'd like to get done but really I'm just planning to relax. The holidays can be so exhausting!
Being knocked up = boring New Years, but that's just fine by me. We'll cook a nice dinner at home and probably be in bed by 12:15. I made brunch reservations for NYD at Paramour in Wayne for our 4th anniversary, so I am more looking forward to that!
Side note - I'm totally geeking out over that wedding dress banner ad. It was shot at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica and I stayed there in May. I am obsessed with that plate wall.
This weekend and this entire past week I am a mummer widow, it is parade day crunch time and I hate this week being my husband spends any non-working hours building/sequining/practicing. etc... It never used to bother me but this year I am kind of over it all, I am a mummer grinch
So.. tonight I am taking the babies to Disney on Ice with my mom to get out of the house.
Tomorrow, no plans due to the weather, I really need to go food shopping but of course it will be all EGGS, MILK, BREAD hysteria so it may be take out all weekend instead. Maybe do some baking with the kids, movies, attempt to play in the snow if we get any.
Sunday.. really wanted to do that Newtown 5k but plans just arent working out the way I need them. grrr In the afternoon, early dinner for my dad's birthday, then Parade Dress Rehearsal at night.
Monday- work till 4 then not sure. We were invited to my aunt's for a little party, may see the fireworks at Penn's Landing first then go there for a little and be home by 10. NY day is a long one for us so I don't even care if I make it till midnight.
Tues- up and at 'em at 7am at our club for make up application, then this year I am actually heading to the parade with my family for the first time in years instead of doing my usual open house party. Then heading to convention center for night show of fancy brigades, followed by celebrations at the club. I have work Jan 2 for the first time in years so won't be partying too hard

That sounds like fun! I'd love to join you for breakfast if you end up in my hood. I'll message you my cell # on facebook.
Tonight- driving up to Philly (we got home at 11p on 12/26- I am not in the mood to go back)
Saturday- some holiday visiting with my grandmom followed by a drama filled wedding on DH's side
Sunday- more holiday visiting with my cousins and godson. Family 50th bday party in the afternoon. Driving to OC.
Monday- OC. Nice dinner and in bed at 12:02
Tuesday- breakfast out in OC, walk on the beach depending on the weather, lunch, and driving the kiddo home during his nap.
I pray to all things that I am able to relax Sunday through Tuesday. Ugggggh, I need a holiday to recover from the holidays.
Tonight: dinner and shopping at BJ's
Tomorrow: hopefully cleaning/organizing the basement
Sunday: another parade on 2 St
Monday: took the day since I had and personal day I need to use before the end of the year. Then house party at DH's cousins, then home soon after midnight to sleep for the big day.
Tuesday: sleep in a bit then head over to 2 St to party Hopefully Woodland has a repeat of last year!!
Wednesday: I am off, sleeping in then go to the club and watch the parade.
Working for another hour or so, then heading home so DH can go to work and I can stay with our sick kiddos. My poor baby boy can't breathe too well and is using a nebulizer. Happy Holidays to me! Hanging home tonight, and maybe if DH gets home early enough I may run to do a return or two at a couple of stores.
Tomorrow I have to take DS to the doctor for a follow-up to see if the meds are helping him. We are taking DD to Disney on Ice at night, and thankfully my parents are willing to come stay with DS while we are gone.
Sunday DH is taking DD to the zoo to use passes she got for her bday that expire 12/31- hoping she feels up to it since she's fighting off a cold right now.
Monday I work during the day...not sure about what's up at night. I had been hoping to invite some friends who have kids over to have a low key alternative to the party our one friend throws that isn't kid-friendly, but doesn't look like we'll be doing much unless DS and DD miraculously recover fully in time. Bummer. DH and I may just order in some food and veg on the couch.
