I want to go home (and take a nap) so badly! Are there any other losers at work today? I have no focus.
Anyone doing something fun this weekend?
Re: Snow!
That's adorable. My office has no windows (waaaaahhhh), so I can't see it. The snow makes me miss Connor. He's been excitedly asking when it would snow and if we could have a snowball fight for months, but he's at his grandparents' this week. I hope he got to have some snow too.

We missed out in Lawton - we got a dusting. But, we still have a few inches on the ground from our Christmas snow, so I won't complain. Hope it isn't too bad up there!
Just hanging out in Lawton for one more weekend...and starting to plan a wedding. My sister got engaged today but is keeping it on the DL. I'm totally excited; they're talking about getting married in Hawaii.
Why is she keeping it on the DL? Entertain us, how did she get engaged? What does her ring look like? Lord, I sound like a 20 year old.

I honestly have no clue why...I think she just wants to see how long she can keep it a secret. They've already dropped hints on FB though, and I think they're going to make their big "We're engaged!" announcement soon.
They got engaged this morning in the snow-covered front yard of my parents' house. They just got a new puppy [English Bulldog] and brought him home at Christmas so we could all meet him. They were taking him out for a walk when her now fiance got down on one knee. He asked my parents for permission last night, so my mom knew he was going to do it today...she stood at the front window of the house and took pictures. It was perfect for her - she wanted it to be spontaneous and unexpected, and she definitely didn't expect to be engaged today.
Her ring is awesome:
congrats to your sister and have fun wedding planning! My sister is getting married in June and it's been fun helping her and seeing her plans come together. We're going matron of honor/bridesmaid dress shopping Monday, hopefully we find some good stuff
. And it dawned on me today that I need to start planning her shower, ahhhh!
