Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Nesties needed UPDATED
My mom called me first thing this morning to tell me that my uncle had a massive heart attack. Apparently he was punching out his timeclock (he works in the mines - evening shift last night) and just dropped. His co-workers did CPR immediately and EMT's got there quickly. They apparently had to use paddles to get his heart started again. He was airlifted to another hospital (the same one my other uncle - his brother had the exact same flight with a heart attack). He is currently in ICU with a bad fever which is preventing them from going in and doing any kind of surgery. They have him sedated to try and keep him calm. His wife, my other uncle, dad and grandmother are there now. His kids are headed down there tonight and my mom and another aunt & uncle will be driving there tomorrow (sorry, so confusing - my grandparents had 6 kids). I am struggling with trying to figure out if I should travel the 6 hours to get there.
I'm still realing from everything and just thought my uncle could really use those famous nestie vibes. He is one of the goofiest, fun loving guys you could meet and know that he would/will get a kick out of me asking all of you to send him "good vibes!".

My uncle is still in ICU. They apparently had to lower his body temp. down to 30 degrees and now for the next 24 hours will begin to slowly raise it back up to regular temp. My husband and I are leaving this morning to spend time down there and I hate this drive more than life itself....but then....that is the point. The next 24 hours are crucial to his recovery and we're simply doing all the praying that we know how to right now.
Thank you ladies for once again sending this wonderful nesties vibes to my uncle. He will get a real kick out of this when I tell him....hopefully soon!
