Hey, Hey Hockeytown!

Re: Does Anyone Have
1/2 c vanilla yogurt
1 small ripe banana
handful of berries ( I like strawberry and raspberries)
1 cup skim milk
combine and blend.
H and I make smoothies daily.
We use frozen fruit - strawberries, blueberries, and mango usually. I really like raspberries but I find they are too seedy in smoothies. Sometimes I use just one, sometimes two, sometimes all three.
As far as liquids to mix with, we use vanilla almond milk, vanilla soy milk, and/or orange juice. I like to mix my milk 50/50 with orange juice. H uses just the milk. I buy the Trop 50, which has a lot less sugar than normal OJ.
As far as additives, I usually put in ground flaxseed powder and some vanilla vitamin powder. It's actually for workout recovery and designed for men (my H buys it), I just put in a lot less than he does.
As far as how much of each...I don't really measure, I just know by now how much to add. I'd say I do 2 small handfulls of strawberries and a handful of whatever else I'm adding (I like strawberry to be the predominant flavor in mine!). Generally speaking you want enough liquid to cover all the frozen fruit (and like I said, I do half low sugar OJ and half soy/almond milk). If things aren't blending well, try adding more liquid.
Hope that helps =] I got my H hooked on smoothies, and several of my friends as well. Pretty tasty! I usually have them as my breakfast - it's easy to drink on the way to work.

I make mine similar to Sam, a handful of frozen berries with vanilla almond milk or skim milk (I usually have one or the other around the house). I use protein powder also, not a full scoop, but it seems to make it a little more substantial because when I do have smoothies, it's usually only after a workout or something.
Some combos I like that aren't fruit based are chocolate & coffee... aannnd.... that's really all I can think of right now. lol
Oh yeah, I don't measure either. Just tweak it until it's how I like it.

Mine vary depending on what we have in the house. For liquid I use water alot, but if your not liking the recepies you like I would use the vanilla almond milk, or regular milk. I throw in ice, but alot of times I use fresh fruits. I use a varriation of berries, bananna, pears, pinnapple, apples, mango, cherries, and coconut. I also add a handfull of spinich, to mine too. Can't taste it over the sweetness.
I would probably start with something simple like strawberry banna. Or a berry mix with milk and ice.
Good Luck!
My favorite smoothie recipe is similar.
This usually makes 2-3 glasses:
2 scoops of vanilla frozen yogurt
1 serving of strawberry yogurt
1 banana
1-2 handfuls of strawberries
About 1 cup of milk (I use skim milk and add more if needed to get the amount I want)
