A few years ago I bought a pair of boots from Zappos. They were a decent investment, but since they are synthetic, the outside "skin" is beginning to become detached and they are not wearing well. I doubt they will make it through another month.
I went back to zappos because I have a wide calf (17.5" and a size 8 shoe). The only manufacturers I can find that meet my specs - real leather upper, wide calf, 1-2" heel, classic riding boot - are ones that I've never heard of.
Anyone have experience with Fitzwell boots or RSVP boots? Any other websites/online stores I should consider besides zappos? I loved some of the Bandolino options I saw, but the calf isn't big enough. Maybe next year after I've lost more weight...
Thanks!
