H has an interview today!
H has an interview with a trucking company today at 930! I think he wonders if he should have gotten a true truck driving job instead of working for the construction company. Since he's currently laid off (we knew he would when it got too cold to pave), now is the time to see without burning the bridge with his current company. He'd be hauling groceries, and building experience.

Thanks girls. Now he's telling me he's going to talk to his current employer first... then going over for the interview. I guess the 0930 was a loose time. I think they just wanted him to drop by and do a driving test.
I kind of knew it'll be a big transition for him as a civilian. He's used to being in a supervisor position and now he's low man. He will get settled soon. It's really hard for him because he's not used to choices... and he keeps second guessing himself.

It's kind of a "let's see" type thing. See if he likes this more than road construction and see what the construstion company has for him in the spring. They hired him as a dump truck driver, but he was mostly a laborer that had his CDLs and drove the water truck. He didn't really like that. They were talking to him about being a mechanic, dump truck driver, machine operator... and nothing happened.
Sounds like the perfect situation for him to try something new and still have his other job as a fall back!
