I heart my Dyson!
DH thought I was crazy to spend close to $500 on a vacuum but I was fed up with buying the cheap vacuums that would only last 6 months to a year. Since my vacuum came with a 5 year warranty, I figured that even if it crapped out the day after the warranty was up, I'd still break even. There is a Dyson store now in KOP and I took my vacuum in for the first time due to an issue with the front brush. They fixed the problem, cleaning my machine, gave me a new filter, and replaced the back wheels (because the part had been upgraded on newer models so they just gave me the upgrade). The guy also taught me how to clean my filter, whoops, I didn't know it was something I should have been doing. He also told me that there is a second filter that needs to be cleaned once a year but that I should just bring my vacuum in for it's free yearly check-up and have them do it. I didn't even know they offered free yearly check-ups! So, I'm here to tell you all how much I love my vacuum and how great the Dyson store in KOP is. If you have a Dyson, go bring it in for it's free check-up! If you don't have one, you should totally get one. They're great.

LOL, I hadn't thought about it that way but that's a good comparison.
I know! It's a total dream come true.
On side note to everyone, it's in the same plaza as The Melting Pot....just sayin

Nope. Your vacuum has a serial number on it that they punch into the computer.
Not sure, mine had been registered. You can call and ask them before driving out there.
