Its been a few days but here is the QOTD....

H surprised me with a 7 piece All Clad set and his parents added in the 13" french skillet with lid from All Clad! In love with it!
I also love the gift I GAVE H - tickets to see Eddie Izzard in New York in February!
Best part of Christmas though, with no jokes - waking up with H and our dog and spending Christmas morning just the three of us. So happy!!
That WAS awesome waking up on Christmas morning with DH. Just thinking about it makes me smile.
My favorite gift was a Nook HD for DH. We have an ipad but I was dyng for something smaller to fit in my purse. It has been great so far. I bought 3 books for it yesterday and I downloaded the Goodreads app for it too.
I think that DH's favorite gift was the replica Master Sword and Shield for Zelda. He was so excited when he opened them up.
H got me a long sweater and some leggings. I love them! I also love the book that he got me: "Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King". It's like a prequel to the movie "Rise of the Guardians" (which I love!). I read it in about 3 hours, haha! Now I need to get the next book in the series.
I would have to say that H's favorite present from this year would be the mandolin that my mom and I got for him. He's been wanting one for months, and he was completely surprised by it!
I bought myself a Kindle during a lightning deal. H called that his gift to me, and gave me a lecture about not buying stuff for myself anymore before Christmas. He also got me a case for the Kindle. He also got me a pillow shaped like a guys upper body for when he works his overnights. (He works switch shifts.)
My favorite gift was the new iPad from my husband and his favorite gift was his new laptop.
Christmas Eve we spent at my in-laws and Christmas Day afternoon was spent with my family ... What I loved most was going to OUR house Christmas Eve night and waking up just us Christmas morning !!!
Islandmonkey, I've had All Clad pots for a few years and got the French skillet as a shower gift. I have no idea how I lived without the skillet. I have been finding recipes just to use it. It is wonderful. You will fall in love.
My favorite gift to receive were all of the "Our first Christmas" ornaments. We got one from each mother and one from one of H's sisters. For Hanukkah, MIL gave us an ornament with a wedding photo on a glass ball with our wedding date. We may now have 5 first Christmas ornaments (we bought one for ourselves also), but we love each one. H's other sister made us an adorable wedding scrap book. She took so much time and it really is beautiful.
My favorite gift to give were all of the gifts for our nephew's first Christmas. He was far more interested in tissue paper and wrapping paper, but knowing that he now has a favorite toy that we gave him (he noticed it the next day) makes my heart warm
I also really enjoyed waking up with H in our bed with no one here but us. I think that will be my new favorite Christmas tradition.
H got me a Nintendo 3DS with Super Mario 2. I had no idea on what he was going to get me this year. My other favorite gift was the penguin holiday doormat that sings when you step on it from his aunt.
H favorite gift was the heated and cooling seat cushion I got him. Hes a trucker so it was something he really needed.
H and I decided a couple of months ago that our gift to each other would be our new saltwater fish tank. We are both really enjoying that.
H's sister got me some Versace perfume that I really love and H's mom got us a Keurig that has changed our lives!
