Health Insurance

Can anyone give me some advice on whether I should drop my health insurance from my job, if my husband has recently added me to his? He's in the military, stationed in Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX and we got married in December.  I've already received my insurance card and info.  But now I'm wondering if I need the insurance from my work at all.  I'm feeling like I'm paying for something that I may not be using since through him everything is covered.

Any help and tips to make this decision are most appreciated.  Thank you!

    Everything is pretty much covered through Tricare.  We have Standard and still pay very little out of pocket.  The only thing I will say is you may want to keep dental, if you have it.  Two cleanings a year are covered.  Fillings only cost us $17 each, but anything else can get very expensive.  I have to have a broken tooth fixed and it's going to cost us $400.  My daughter has to have braces.  With out my XH's dental coverage as well as Tricare, it would cost us over $2,000.  There is no way we could afford that.

    Thanks so much for your feedback.  Dental always seems to be the most expensive.  It may help us save money if we stick to one health insurance, rather than have two.

    Totally keep your dental. I would pay for dental through work if I could, because the dental you can get has very low costs, but very low coverage. I paid $5200 out of pocket last year above and beyond what their plan covered. 
    I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.
