I have a 2 and 5 year old kids. We were looking at Beaches. Have you been there? Which location did you go to? Did you like it?? Advice or thoughts on it?
Re: beaches? thoughts?
Beaches is a wonderful resort especially for families with children. Turks and Caico's is beautiful, but a little more pricey. You really can't go wrong since there is so much to do.
Are you looking for specific information? I am a TA and would be happy to answer any questions you have.
My best friend went to Beaches Negril in May and she raves about the trip -- so much so that we were booking our trip there over the weekend with our travel agent for November... until we saw the price tag! We plan to continue to go to Disney World at least once a year, so our "other" vacation needs to stay around $5,000, and that wasn't happening @ ANY of the Beaches resorts. But then again, we are a family of 5 and the world is not built for that -- or at least vacations aren't!
Anyway, you can't go wrong with Beaches as long as money isn't an issue -- I'm sure it's a great place to stay and well worth the cost, especially with young kids.
We decided to go with another family friendly resort in Jamaica. It's only 15 mins from the air port (the Beaches resorts are far away from what I remember). Not nearly as fancy as Beaches, but actually under budget which made my husband happy!
Have fun!
