Vow renewal 2015

I am starting to plan our vow Renewal. It will be our 10th anniversary and DH and I decided to take our girls and do a vow renewal as a family.

We want to do it in Hawaii, simple and on a beach. I just dont know where to start! There are SOOO many websites that look less than legit.

Suggestions? Thanks so much!

Re: Vow renewal 2015

  • It may be helpful to figure out which island you want to go to first and then select a few beachside hotels/resorts there that you think look nice and are in your budget. They probably all offer packages of some sort for this type of event.

  • You may be able to choose a resort and starting contacting the coordinator, but you won't be able to do anything in regards to booking the travel part of the trip until 330 days prior to departure. Also, I bet most resorts won't even guarantee anything since they don't plan renovations out this far. That being said, check out gohawaii.com and as the pp said, figure out which island works best for you and your family.

  • What a wonderful idea!

I agree that you should first figure out which island you want.  I have sent many people to Maui and they love it.  There are many hotels to choose from and the cost can get high so have a budget in mind.

I am a TA and if you need any advice I would be happy to help.

  • we are doing the same in 2015 and can't wait!!

we are doing 2 - a private one with just us and kids on vaca and a little party on boat - my husbands idea and love it.  we live on the water and close to the shore so we are super excited!!  good luck and have so much fun!! i can't wait, and have already started little preliminary planning :)
