Ink on carpet

Hopefully, no one else will be met with such. I recently found a number of ink spots. We only moved here 12/14!!! Rubbing alcohol - saturate, then blot - very quickly did the trick! Just thought I would pass it along!

Re: Ink on carpet

  • Glad this worked for you, but alcohol can be a tricky stain remover on certain fabrics or textiles and certain stains. Alcohol can sometimes cause more discoloration when applied. The best thing to do in future cases (hopefully you have none) is to test an unexposed area first to ensure no further staining or discoloration appears! Or to contact a local carpet cleaner and find out what they would recommend. Again, happy you were able to remove this stain on your own! Smile
