Moving dd into a full size bed --few questions
We are going out this weekend to get the mattress/boxspring. I want to get a good mattress cover that is waterproof but not plasticy. She isn't a bedwetter but she's still young and I don't want to risk it. Do we need a bed rail? We don't have one on her toddler bed and she has only fallen out once in the 7 months she's been in it. Any mattress cover and bed rail recs would be greatly appriciated. That you!
Re: Moving dd into a full size bed --few questions
We just gave dd a full for Christmas! We don't use a bed rail. She is really good about not falling out. A full is plent big too although dd packs it full of toys so she is hanging off the edge!
i got a waterproof cover at target. I think it said something like soft cover on the packaging because I didn't want plasticky either. It was around $15. It's not as soft as the nice covers we have on our bed but it is fine for her.
Ditto all of this.
We also got our waterproof pads at Target, but they sell them at the mattress stores if you want a really good one. I highly recommend the Original Mattress Factory BTW.
For Lanna, we got metal/mesh bedrails at BRU because her bed was only a twin and it was a trundle so it was higher. They slid under the mattress when you weren't using them, but we just left them up all of the time. You could also start with the mattress on the floor if you want to test the waters without the bedrails.
Oh, that's a really good idea!
That is a great idea! We used one of those ones like Mandy said at first for our 2.5 yo then just got one of those body pillows as an extra barrier on the one side! but she's usually good!
