Thanks so much for your help!!
Re: Please read and help :(
Stretch marks won't be removed by any cream. The only way you can remove them, I think, is through a tummy tuck.
Not feasible for you, if you plan on having more kiddoes.
They do fade after time. There's some good news here.
Like PP said stretch marks don't really go away. But a cream to help the look and speed up the fading process is out at the pharmacy. I got it after I had DD and it helped. I *think* it's Merderma in a purple box, I've seen it at Walmart & cvs.
This. Be proud of those marks. You earned them!
Although there are several creams on the market that could help, I'd like to offer some more practical advise if I may:
1.) Drink more water. Nothing is cheaper and more effective than proper hydration to increase skin elasticity.
2.) Embrace the changes in your body. You might be shy about it, but I promise that men are men and when ladies get naked they don't notice our little imperfections!
I have really bad stretch marks after DD was born. DH worked for the pharma company that makes Mederma. I was told it takes almost a year to get them to clear up after your belly gets toned again.
Here was what I was told to minimize their appearance:
Exfoliate daily, baking soda and body wash works great for this i the shower.
Use a vitamin e oil a couple times a day and use mederma if you want once a day.
do exercises to tone your core and drink lots of fluids.
If you get toned and healthy you will feel better about your body, minimize the baby blues and also reduce their appearance.
You just had a baby- it took 40 weeks to change your body, it wont go back over night. You should be kind to yourself and I'm sure your boyfriend stil finds you very attractive.
best wishes
