Back in FL

It's been a VERY LONG road trip. We had lots of fun, but I am glad it is over. We stayed at my in-laws last night and still have an hour to go until we actually get home, but nothing compared to the 14hr car ride yesterday from Washington, D.C. to FL. I have so much to do before we go back to school on Monday. It is mostly house stuff: cleaning, taking down the tree, etc.

I hope everyone had a good new years!

Re: Back in FL

  • I was just thinking about you last night! I'm glad to hear you made it home safe! So did you have a great time visiting your family?

Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.

  • Major props to you for making that drive! I can't even imagine makeing a 13 hour drive to Colorado when not pregnant! There's no way in heck I'd be making a drive like that while pregnant. Glad you made it there and back safely!

  • It was a tough drive for sure! We are both overly exhausted and not looking forward to going back to school tomorrow. We did the trip now because we knew by the time spring break comes in March I would not want to do the drive. I am so thankful for my husband who drove us round trip while I took naps in the passanger seat. Stopping at hotels helped us out too.

I enjoyed visiting my family and friends for sure, but am so happy to be back in 80 degree temperatures.

  • Yes, it is cold up here right now. Of course it is warmer now that you left. But congrats on making the car ride. I agree, I don't like driving 9 hours now. Can't even imagine wanting to do it pregnant.
