Feeling my baby move

For the past few days I have been feeling my baby move. It's a little weird, I must admit. By no means, do I love feeling it. It actually freaks me out a little. I guess that's mean to say but in so many ways pregnancy in general freaks me out. It's not the best experience ever like so many woman talk about.

Thanks! Congratulations to you too. It goes by so fast!

I've been good. We bought a house a few months ago so we have been very busy! I can't believe I only have 8 weeks left! I can't have an epidural due to low platelets so I'm trying to stay calm, but I think other people are more nervous for me than I am. So far so good.

Congrats on the new house! Sorry about not being able to have an epidural. Maybe they can give you something else. I think my friend had morphine.

Pregnancy is different for everyone. I'm sorry it's not what you thought it would be.

I've felt a few kicks here and there and absolutely love it! I can't wait to feel her moving around more!

Oh, I always knew it would be hard for me. I'm a wimp when it comes to aches and pains.

Maybe I'll like feeling the baby more later on but right now it just kinda freaks me out.

Tara, I'm right there with you. I think I definitely had rose colored glasses on what I thought pregnancy would be like. By far my first trimester was the worst. I know for some women it doesn't get better after that. I will say that I'm finally adjusting to the whole being pregnant thing, and of course it's almost over. I actually prefer the movement I feel now compared to those first flutters and kicks. To me those were fun but weird. Now I can feel her just moving around and while it's still weird and slightly uncomfortable, I like it.
