Hey ladies,
My DH, our almost 4 year old son and I will be moving to W. Chester soon. Can anyone recommend Pediatricians, Regulary Family Dr.'s, OBGYN's and a part time or full time preschool?
Thanks so much!
Re: Moving to W. Chester
Thank you for your help!
We use Gateway Medical Assoc. too. I am happy enough with the doctors (don't go very often thankfully), but I will warn you the wait can be long on occasion. The great thing, though, is that they have walk-in hours almost every night and on Saturdays for sick visits. We've used those the most and it's been so great to just be able to stop by on the way home from work (or when you wake up on a Saturday morning feeling awful).
We use Sugartown Peds (offices in Malvern and Edgemont) for my daughter. Just one doctor in a very small and new practice, but we really like him.
I go to Great Valley OBGYN in Exton and delivered at Paoli. I have been really happy with them.
The West Chester YMCA on Airport Road has a great preschool (so I've heard) and I know of friends who sent their kids to preschool at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in Malvern and loved it.
Good luck on your move - we just love West Chester! The downtown is really great and has lots of restaurants. It's just really nice to walk around. We spend a lot of time there when the weather is nice.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your help!
Tracy.....I think you use the Gateway on Airport since you mentioned night hours, so does my husband. I use the one by the hospital, and they have am walk ins (just in case you need them).
I learned this secret, if you have to make an appt....take the 1st one in the am or the 1st one after lunch. They should be on time that way, and it has worked for us. I agree that I do LOVE the walk in hours!
