Cleveland Airport Connection

I am traveling to California in March and we have a connection in Cleveland. Orginally I had booked the tickets and had a 1 hour layover...now the flights have changed and we have a 43 minutes layover. My concern is that DH and I will also have our 8 month old son with us and I am worried that we won't have enough time. We will probably have to switch concourses. Anyone familiar with the Cleveland airport? Is this do-able or should I try to get this changed.

 Thanks!

Re: Cleveland Airport Connection

  • I've made that kind of connection in Cleveland before, but it was definitely a rush even without any inbound delay. And with no kids.

If you can get it changed to another reasonable option, it might be worth it for the peace of mind. If you can't, know that it's possible, but plan to hurry!

  • Look up a map of the CLE concourses online now. Google something like "Cleveland Hopkins International Airport concourse map." You can probably figure out what gates you'd be arriving and departing from. Figure out where you need to go and then you will feel better.
  • I would try to get it switched if possible. Some of the concourses are on the opposite side of the airport.
