Anyone starting the New year with awesome work outs?
I'm doing 17 Day Diet so I don't plan to work out until I'm on phase 2. So 2 more weeks, then I'll start training for a 5K. Are we doing the one in the March again?!
I will say I'm down 3 lbs since starting 17DD!

Re: Toning Tuesday
I will be attending my second zumba class this evening. I was also 10 points below what was allowable for weight watchers. I know Im supposed to eat all the points for the day, but I honestly wasnt hungry. I ate a ton of fruits and veggies yesterday so I dont think I was losing any nutrition at all.
Though I do have to admit, my first trial of homemade smoothies was a disaster. I used way too much spinach and i need to cut that mess in half. I dont know if it was because i used frozen or what. But I couldnt even drink it because of all the particles i had to actually chew first.
I am also down 2 pounds from last Thursday. Thought DH (jerkface) is down 10 pounds from Christmas just by cutting beer out of his diet.
ETA - congrats on the 2 lbs!

I did zumba and toning on Saturday and last night I did RIPPED.
tonight is my off night because I have dinner at the farm and i'll go to the gym tomorrow.

I wanted to do this, but Im not a runner. I try to hard to be, but Im just not. Maybe once I get some of this extra weight off and get used to regular workouts, Im going to try again, but I dont want to set myself up for failure. My stamina just isnt there enough to sign up yet. March would be pushing it.
Confession: I'm not a runner either. Not really, anyway. I'm doing the Couch to 5K in anticipation of this race. I've started it a few times, and never finished because of pregnancy, then because of needing to have surgery. I'm determined to finish it this time. It's a 9 week program, and the race is a little over 10 weeks away, so I'm hoping I won't have to do too many repeats of days in order to finish it and be ready for the race.

I went for a run on Saturday morning. My nose was running, my ears were numb, and the cold air was stabbing my lungs...and it felt awesome!
I did some free weight/cardio stuff on Sunday.
I took Monday off. I didn't want to, but I left work later than I had wanted.
Tonight I did a cardio DVD.
