Re: weather in Orlando end of jan?

  • It can be iffy.  I'd keep watching the weather down there.  It is supposed to be around 80 this weekend but could go back down to the 60's in a few weeks.

  • I agree with iffy. Definitely pack some cold weather clothes!!! We went earl Feb last year and the first couple days were so cold. Out first day in Disney the high was only in the 40s. Dd had to wear her winter jacket. I didn't bring mine so I had to wear tons of layers. The next day was in 50s and then it started getting in the 70s.  The nights can get chilly and we had to go by boat to Disney from the resort which could be really chilly. Definitely have layers!

  • Earlier last week, I froze my butt off and actually turned on the heat for the first time.  This week it's 80.  I'd wait until the week before to start packing.  If you want to arrange some stuff now, I'd lay out some clothes based on a colder forecast and clothes for warmer temps.

I'd say definitely jeans and sweatshirts or jackets for the evening and night.
