Who had a daycare rate increase this year?
How much?
Our rate increased about $35/month/kid. So $70 overall. We also switched to 3 days/week, but after the increase this only ended up saving us $100/month. total.
That was a disappointment--but I like our daycare and think that they provide quality care and education so we'll deal.
Re: Daycare Rate Increases
Ours increases every year but we had some overall decreases at times so I am not sure exactly what it usually is. Like infant room is more expensive than other rooms so when we moved rooms the price drop but tuition rates overall went up. And I know we one year did a registration to kind of lock in our tuition rate. So I don't think it increased the next year.
Our increase is at the beginning of the school year so ours increased in sept. we had a $3 a week increase which I thought was pretty low.
haha yes...roll your eyes but not be upset about it
My three sons!
Our rates do go down, but, not from when they move from the 3's to the 4's or the infants to the 1's. So even though both of my kids moved up a room there was no break.
