Re: ok people
I'm here! We keep losing power/internet at work... kinda killing my work motivation. I just want to keep reading!
I had veggie soup with chicken for lunch. I had to cheat last night on the 17DD. My tummy was NOT happy with all the veggies. I made stuffed red peppers... but instead of rice I used quinoa. I felt a little better with that carb than rice.
Sounds DEEEE-Lish.
I'm at work. The kids are working on a reading comprehension story about Anne Frank. When I introduced it not ONE of them had heard of the Holocaust.
What grade is it again? I feel like we learned about it in the 4th grade and I'm pretty sure you're in middle school... SMH
7th. Yeh...it's sad. They literally know nothing about the world.
boy (n): a noise with dirt on it
I do remember 9th grade, I was in AP english... reading Animal farm. I had no idea who Stalin was or all the other crazy russian names lol. I went to the same school my whole life along with 90% of the class. No idea when they learned this and I didn't...
I don't remember when I read about it for the first time but in 7th grade my class flew to DC and we visited the holocoust museum

You flew to DC with your class?!
yeah I think we stayed for like 3 nights/4 days. remember i'm from Ohio so we couldn't just drive there like you guys can!
The Rowdy Roberts
Would if I could, Andrea!
I scored some chocolate milk at lunch. That was pretty exciting.

Yea, my school was too poor to do anything. I think our biggest trip was Gettysburg in 5th grade. After that, nothing.
our parents paid for it, not the school.
