Returning photobooks to Shutterfly?
DH and I ordered photobooks from Shutterfly while they were on special (30% off or something). We ordered 3 the same books. They looked really nice except some of the pages were stuck together and then they ripped when we tried pulling them apart!
Since Shutterfly has a Satisfaction Guarantee we were going to send them back and have them replaced.
I was just wondering if any of you have had any experience with this? Were they easy to deal with, or did they try to make things difficult for you?

Update (lol I'm impatient):
I called customer service and asked about sending them back and having the books replaced and told the lady about the pages stuck together. She got my order number, reviewed my order and confirmed what damage had occured. Then she told me that because the books were defective there was no need to send them back, she just re-ordered them for me and put them on next day delivery as a courtesy! I was shocked!
She just said, "Oh, no need to send them back, we'll just ship you the new ones, will that be ok?" I was like, "That's perfect!!" lol
So, to anyone who was wondering: Shutterfly has excellent customer service!

That's great to hear. I have never used them but if I ever do I will be glad to know this. Also I wouldn't think they would take it back since it's personalized it's not like they can resale it. I'm glad they are sending you new ones and quickly! That's amazing.
I sort of thought they'd want them back as proof they were damaged or something? I wasn't sure either, though.
I thought they looked really great! I was really happy with how they turned out, DH really liked them too. I happened to catch them during a sale, and we got 3 12"x12" "Story Book" style albums with padded hard covers for $167. The website is super easy to use and they have a lot of ideas for page layouts. The only problem I had was some of my pictures wouldn't upload to the site for whatever reason, but it worked out ok because we had more than enough pictures to make up for it. Plus, I was trying to do everything in one sitting. It probably would have worked if I left it and came back the next day or something.
I almost left ours as they were, I just didn't feel like fighting it and they were supposed to be Christmas gifts, but DH didn't want to give them away as they were. I'm glad he convinced me to call them.
