Would this be weird?
Our basement is unfinished but this year with part of our tax return were thinking of organizing our whole basement. Putting in a bunch of shelves, getting a ton of totes etc. Our walls are insulated with white plastic on top but no Sheetrock. Right now thats the only place we can put the treadmill and our other exercise equipment so I was thinking of sectioning part of the basement off with curtains. I was thinking of getting a ton of fabric and making the curtains myself since it would be way cheaper, hanging rods all the way around the area we want sectioned off likely in white color and hanging them up. The rods would be those simple white curtain rods but altered to hang from the ceiling instead. Would that look weird?

I honestly think it would be weird, especially if you did white. I'm getting mental images of a turn of the century TB ward.
