Electronic library question
Is there any way to "return" an e-book before the expiration date? While H and I were trying to figure out how to download the book I wanted onto my phone we downloaded 3 books that I didnt really want but it was just to practice checking out. I dont want to hold onto the book in case someone else wants to read it. I was wondering if there is any way that it cane be returned or do I just have to wait until it expires?

The Rowdy Roberts
I used the overdrive website and when I go to my bookshelf I see the "download" button but not a return button.
Yeah, I think you can only do it with the app. I don't have any books checked out currently so I can't check for sure but I do know you can only return audio books from the app, you can't do it on the website.
I think H downloaded the app on my phone but its not yet linked to my account. Maybe I will try to do that and see if it allows me to do it. Thanks!

Same with me because I don't have an updated operating system. I have to check out audiobooks on my computer and then transfer them to my ipod.
What format are the books in? I get the Epub, I'm not sure about kindle books... but I'd try downloading them to your computer, along with adobe digital edition (it's on the eLibrary website). Drag and drop them into the digital edition program. Then when your right click the books you can return them.
My iOS is up to date, though. So I'm not sure what's going on.

Well the overdrive program on my computer is very unreliable so it does not surprise me that the app doesn't function well.
