I haven't been eating well

Not that I am trying REAL hard but it isn't happening.  I had Mcdonalds twice this week.  Pizza and ice cream last night. Today isn't much better.  I am trying not to care about it.  I keep telling myself that its my winter weight...

  • I have not been eating well either. I have gained 10lbs since November. Boo. I stress eat and it is so hard to change that. I am going to do a cleanse this week before I leave for Vegas next Saturday. Hope I have the will power to stick to it. 
  • I've only gained 3 lbs so far in this pregnancy and I'm super happy about it. However, I'm afraid that now the morning sickness has subsided, the weight will start packing on. I'm trying to eat healthy but it's hard. I'm really not ever in the mood for a salad or grilled chicken. I hardly ever eat veggies. (I know, terrible). When I work I bring with me a Lean Cuisine frozen meal. I gave them up two years ago due to them not being "natural" now I'm back on them again because they are easy and have portion control.  So anyway, I think pregnant or not we should all care about what we eat but easier said then done!


    Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.

  • I'm down 14 lbs.  Mostly due to getting sick over Christmas/New Years.  Wouldn't recommend that method of weight loss to anybody. Sad

  • I really need to loose something too. I set up a myfitness pal app and account, but I keep saying I will start it tomorrow.

    I set that up a couple years ago and I love it.  I stopped logging food when Joy moved in because it's hard to figure out when she custom cooks everything, but I do log all my workouts.

  • I loved using it before, and it is hard to log, because I do a lot of home cooking and try to stay away from processed foods. It also doesn't help that I have half days and am catching up on postponed lunch dates with some people.

    It would be doable if she used recipes.  But it's more "oh, a little bit of this, and a little bit of that.  oh needs more of this."

  • I've had a myfitnesspal account for a few years.  I loved it when I was taking more prepared foods for lunch and dinner.  Now that I'm home more and cooking more, it is hard to track.  Hoping to get back into it again once Baby Lily is here.

    My confession would be that I haven't been great about watching what I eat while pregnant.  That was one thing I was so convinced I wouldn't do and yeah I totally let myself go.  Not as bad as I could have and I haven't gained as much as I dreaded, but still more than I wanted.
