Wine cork DIY inspiration

I'm in the process of re-decorating my patio area and I've been looking around Pinterest for inspiration. I came across some really great wine cork ideas.
Has anyone tried to make cork coasters or monogram?

I tried making a bulletin/message corkboard with wine corks. I don't remember where I found a tutorial. Maybe google it? I don't recall it being a difficult project beyond collecting the corks.

not yet, but its on my list of things to try
i saw something cool about creating magnets and trivets with them.
maybe if i'm decent at it, i'll put some in my etsy shop to compliment the wine charms. ha.
