So...we're moving

It's all official now, we'll be picking up shortly after the baby is born and moving the Eastern Shore of Maryland. DH got a great job that is tenure track at school down there. I am nervous about moving to the country, like really nervous. No official move date, but sometime in the beginning of August.

Congrats on the job for DH! I will miss you though. I worked a couple summers down there at a camp that's between Chestertown and Centreville. It's definitely country, but beautiful. It has a special place in my heart. I hope you like crab! What area will you be looking at? I have a couple friends down that way from camp, I could ask them for recommendations if you need them. Most have lived there their entire lives.

We love crabs, in fact that's how Brooks' nursery is decorate I would love some local input. The job is in Salusbury, but we're looking as far north as Lewes, DE to Ocean City to Salisbury and Easton MD.

moving is tough, but it sounds like a great opportunity for your dh. After living here, I wouldn't want to move to the country either

Congrats to your H on the new job and good luck with getting everything together for a move. For what it's worth, I would move to Maryland over Ohio any day! Wink I might be in the same situation soon. DH is on the job hunt and I'm a little worried about where it might take us. He's promised to keep the search between D.C. to Boston and in the north-east. I think he learned his lesson with Ohio...

Good luck with the move!! One of my close friends lives in Easton and she likes it. I have visited her before and it is like a small town feeling but its nice and close to St Michaels. Let me know if you have any questions for her.
