I want to make a bunch of cooked food and freeze them for Annabelle and ourselves but from my experience it can only sit in the freezer for about a month before it starts to get freezer burn and that freezer smell to it. I'm thinking of getting one of those FoodSaver's where it basically air seals the food, do you think that would help? I found an awesome recipe for meatballs and I would love to make a bunch and freeze but dont want them to go to waste. Thoughts? Ideas?

Re: Freezer Burn
With meatballs, I would make them and freeze them on a cookie sheet for a few hours, then transfer them into a food saver bag. if not they will get squished when the air was taken out.
The food savers arethe way to go. I have one and love it. Food dosent stay in our freezer very long so i havent been using it recently.
I've frozen soups/chilli/blueberries in gladware freezer containers. Haven't had an issue with freezer burn. We got a food saver for christmas from MIL. I've froze chicken so far. I haven't openned them yet, but it's pretty simple.

Haha MIL told us she got ours discontinued and from "a guy" for $15... I was glad it worked.
Maybe I can find "a guy"
