Speaking of DDs...

My DD started student teaching this past Monday.  Where does the time go?

Re: Speaking of DDs...

  • On new years, EJ had a sleepover with the neighbor at our house, and they had to go back to get something the neighbor forgot at her house. So at dusk, the girls were holding hands running through the neighborhood blowing New Years Eve party horns and wearing tiaras... All I could imagine was the same in another 15 years... happening in the southside.

It all goes too fast!  I am trying to take it all in while I can!

  • It goes very fast.  I read a lot of the posts on this board and I remember having a lot of the same issues.  And now DD is 21 years old, graduating from college in May, applying to graduate schools and starting her own life.  I am so proud of her.  And of me.  It isn't easy raising kids but it does have its rewarding moments.
  • wow, I can't believe she's getting ready to graduate!  Does she enjoy student teaching?

  • She is good at teaching but wants to be a college professor and do international research.
  • Wow, that's awesome!
