So I had a wedding yay and boo moment today!
Yay - We finally put our wedding announcement in our local paper and it turned out absolutely gorgeous! The placement, picture, and article were awesome! Did any of you guys do a wedding announcement in your newspaper?
Boo - I lost a small diamond in my engagement ring and noticed it today. :-( We have insurance so it can be replaced and it's not a big diamond so you really can't tell. But it still made me a little sad. It's going to be weird to get it replaced and not have my engagement ring on for a day or two, too.

Re: Wedding Yay and Boo!
It never even crossed my mind to put a wedding announcement in the paper! Just checked and prices start at $50 for a one-day announcement, so I think we'll skip it. That's great that yours turned out so well!
I got a FB message from a friend just a few days ago asking where I got my rings from. Apparently her stones are cracked and dull, so she wants to get a new band. She got married about a year before we did. I'm glad you had insurance!
I can't believe that only a year after getting married her stones were cracking and dull. I got my ring fix and we just paid for the replacement out of pocket bc it was less than paying the deductible. Not cool but at least it's fixed. I didn't realized how much I missed it being on my finger until I got it back after a few days!
I have started to stop wearing my rings at night because I was wondering if that had something to do with it. I toss and turn abit and being asleep I wouldn't know if it were to get caught on something. Not sure it's going to make a difference but worth the try!
