s/o: E-Reader Users

I found a website called BookBub. You sign up and they send you a daily email about free or cheap books based on your preferences of what type of reader you have (Nook, Kindle, Kobo, etc) and what kind of books you like. You just link from the website to B&N/Amazon/Etc. to purchase the book.

Re: s/o: E-Reader Users

  • Someone just posted about this on Facebook recently, so I just signed up for it and Pixel of Ink.
  • Thanks, Kris! I just signed up for this and Pixel of Ink.
  • I just heard  about this and pixel of ink. I've been nervous about using them, but hearing more and more people using them makes me want to try them out.
  • Why, Gwen, are you worried about viruses or is there something else? All of the links I have clicked so far just take me to Amazon to download the book.

They basicallly just find the deals, send you an email and then link you to the merchant. You don't download anything from them directly. All they ask for is your email and book preferences.

I think that's it - its more me not exactly understanding it, so it makes me nervous. But your saying that it takes you to Amazon to check out makes me feel better about it!

  • I can see that, but yes... I've only been using them for a few days but Amazon is the only place it has taken me.
  • If anyone reads any of the free Amazon ones feel free to report back here! I'd be interested to know if they're good or not.
  • Mandy I have gotten a feW free Amazon ones from Pixel of Ink! They have been good but I have also had a couple duds too! All depend on what you like.... But I love my Pixel of Ink deals and have even turned my dad and others onto them!
