Back to healthy eating for me. I had a super fun weekend but drinking with friends certainly doesn't help one turn down Skyline chili at 2:30 AM.
I still hit up the gym both days so that's something.
B: Oatmeal, grapes
S: Gr pepper & hummus
L: low-sodium chicken & rice soup
S: apple, cheese stick
Turkey chili
S: blueberries & plain yogurt
Exercise: Going to my body pump class after work, which always puts me back on track.
Re: (#) Monday check-in :-(
I came down with bronchitis on Friday night. I didn't get to the pool twice this weekend, as planned. In fact, I barely left the house
I haven't had much of an appetite, but I've kept it pretty healthy. Oatmeal, chicken soup, whole wheat pasta, fruit.
I'll do my normal oatmeal for breakfast. Not sure what the rest of the day holds...
I had a really good weekend. I worked out Saturday while watching Army-Navy but took yesterday off. I meant to play DDR, but after a serious cleaning of the apartment, I didn't feel like it.
We made this black bean soup on Saturday night: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchens/black-bean-soup-recipe2/index.html. We had leftovers last night, and I still have enough for lunch today and tomorrow. So yummy! I haven't been that excited about eating soup in a long time, and by my calculations, 1 cup is about 5 WW points. I snacked primarily on pita chips with hummus and clementines, even while watching football. And I managed to refrain from beer! Woot!
Today if my first weigh-in since restarting the program. I think I've been doing really well, but of course I'm nervous.
B: smoothie (in my new portable cup so I can drink it on the bus!)
S: Kashi bar
L: black bean soup with cheese and maybe some baked chips
S: clementines
Ex: slept in so no elliptical, will do DDR or a step video tonight. I found out the city pool that has been open 2 nights per week is now only open once per week, so I am definitely joining the Y in January and will sign up for cardio kickboxing.
Bad food and exercise weekend for me, too. It was FIL's 60th birthday, and we went to Ruth's Chris to celebrate - and if you're not vegetarian (or keeping kosher), how do you turn down a delicious steak cooked and coated in butter?! And of course, their super yummy sides as well.
*Sigh*
Today's menu:
b- always bad. I had a Diet Coke and a poptart.
s- some vanilla yogurt
l- grilled ham and cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread
s- smoothie
d- some chicken dish. hopefully something spicy!
I'll be going back to the Zumba class tonight.
I didn't too bad over the weekend until last night when I pigged out on cookies and ice cream!
I haven't figured out today's menu yet.
My final verdict on the week and weekend that was should come at about 6:30 today at my ww meeting. We shall see, lol.
I have four flex points left...so I didn't overdo it. But I wish I hadn't used so many of my flex points. Ugh.
As much as I hate to say it, I think I'm waiting until after the holidays to get back on the wagon. Not that I'm going to pig out in the mean time, but I have SO many things to do between now and next Tuesday (prep my kids for finals, go through the process of changing our company over from an LLC to an sCorp, pack, buy more gifts, etc.) and then I'm at the IL's for three weeks, which is never a healthy place to be. I'm just adding to my stress by trying to get to the gym and/or keep track of what I'm eating.
So, I'll rejoin you ladies in January.
