Waiting for my sequential
Apparently the office is really backed up and there are like a dozen ppl here waiting for their ultrasounds. They just came around with snacks.
Normally I'd want to throat punch someone but they had me at free bag of cheese-it's. Damn, cheese-its are so good!

You get snacks at the doctor's when you're pregnant?
Hmm. This might change things.
Well I was there for over 2 hours. That was kinda nuts. Appt was at 2, was told to arrive at 1:45 which I did. I got called at 2:10 for the genetic counseling portion. That was 20 mins. So Then i was released back to the waiting room and waited about 45 mins for the ultrasound. thats when the lady at the desk came around with snacks. There were a lot of annoyed people there. I think there were people waiting a lot longer, they kept saying the ultrasounds were backed up.
My ultrasound was like 40 mins. Baby A was not cooperating at all, he/she is on the bottom and laying on my uterus so they could only get 2 out of the 3 measurements they needed. Babies were moving and wiggling all around though! I met with an MFM and he said everything looked good, but I'm to come back at 16w for another ultrasound to monitor the babies. I'm hoping they'll flash their goods at that point!!
oh, and this was the prenatal diagnosis & MFM practice at Pennsylvania hospital at 8th & spruce. Apparently everyone that sees a pennsy obgyn goes there for their ultrasounds, ill just be there a little bit more.
i think this was a special circumstance, but I do know that at Destination Maternity in Cherry Hill, you get choice of apple juice or water and Luna bars while shopping. I'm all about the free *** ;-)
