TGIF and a three day weekend
Today is Friday and it's a three day weekend for most of us. Also, a few of us are celebrating our 1 year anniversary!
DH works a lot this weekend and I don't really have anything to do. But on Monday to celebrate our anniversary we are going to the winery we had our reception at to have a nice dinner. I'm really excited because lately we haven't been going out to eat at all because we haven't been able to afford it. I'm excited to have a nice dinner and to celebrate being married for a year!

Happy Early Anniversary!
I have a 3 day weekend too. I just remembered yesterday that I get 3 days off and it made me happy. I need to clean my house this weekend and it takes me longer than it used to. I have to take a few breaks. So having 3 days to clean will be nice. I guess I should clarify, I need do more of a "deep clean" as my baby shower is next weekend and we'll have people visiting.
The nursery is pretty much ready. As ready as it can be at this point. Everything we have left is on our registry. So after the shower, we'll go buy what we didn't get. I'm done with my school work for the week. So I really don't have much this weekend besides cooking and cleaning.
I've been working on filling up our freezer with pre-cooked meals. When I cook I try to make extra so I can freeze half. This weekend I'm planning to make a huge batch of homemade spaghetti sauce and possibly a big batch of breakfast burritos. I have the feeling the burritos might not last until the baby gets here though. LOL.
Sadly Sandy ate my 3 day weekend and J never had one. So both of us have to go to work on our anniversary. He works at night, so I will be spending our anniversary going to my choir practice, while he goes to work.
We are celebrating tomorrow though. the ILs gave us a gift certificate for a bed and breakfast in the nearby town. So we are going to see a possible house, checking in at the B&B, then going to dinner at the ski resort that we had our reception in, and then going back to the b&b for some much needed alone time.
Sunday we are going out to dinner with the ILs and his brothers for a last hurray before his one brother goes back to school.
The 21st isn't really a holiday for our company. It's a floating holiday, but not a holiday in the traditional sense, so people will be here. Myself, I will be taking my floating holidays and vacation and will be parking myself on a cruise ship out of reach of anybody and everybody.
