Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Babysitters
What is the going rate for babysitters? We usually have family watch the kids, but then I feel limited to how often we ask them ect. So I have no idea what a good pay is and I don't want to be cheap. Thanks

Thank you so much for your reply, I was thinking $10/hr. I'm glad I wasn't off base!
We pay $10 an hour as well (well, when it was just the two kids), and then round up at the end of the night. Have fun!
My three sons!
Randy rounds up more at the end of the night if one of the kiddos are giving her trouble! Like right before Christmas, he gave her an extra $15 due to Faith not letting her leave her room....I'm happy though because that means she likes the babysitter at least!
