Since it's a crappy Monday in January (at least for those of us who don't have the day off!) let's talk about something fun: VACATIONS! Are you going on one in 2013? If so, where? If not, where would you like to go?
We are going to Hawaii in May for our 1st anniversary and because our 2 good friends are getting married (to each other, not 2 weddings
. I am SO excited! Hawaii was the other place we were considering for our honeymoon, so I'm glad we chose St. Lucia for that.
We are sharing a condo with 2 other couples, so besides it being super cheap, it should be a blast too!

We going to Disney in 22 days! So excited, we really wanted to do Ireland for our 1 year but our money situation is kinda ugly right now due to some home repairs we were not expecting. We probably do a weekend somewhere we can drive. I always go away to the south jersey shore for a week too with my family in July.
Do wonder if people who don't live in Wisconsin or Michigan know what UP stands for? =]

Yay for Vacations!! We are going to Destin May 4th this year!! I love love FL but never been to Destin. Well it?s actually Miramar FL but its super close to Destin. My best friend and her husband are going with us which is always awesome. They crashed our Honeymoon to the Bahamas which was amazing! I loved them being there! So now we wanna travel everywhere together. My daddy and stepmom will also be there. I see my dad maybe once a year if I'm lucky
I'm such a daddy's girl so I can?t wait to see him and spend time with
him!!! And then if we're lucky, later on this year we might try to make it the
Virgin Islands 
for the third time!!

As for us, we're heading to Vegas in about a month- H has as trade show, so he and his sister will be working while her husband and I will play
haha. I'm really looking forward to hanging out with them!
For our anniversary, we're going to stay at the Inn where we got married for the weekend. I'm also really looking forward to that. Maybe crash a wedding while we're there
I also have a weekend in DC planned for April with my mom, aunt, and 2 cousins.
I just realized I have a lot of fun stuff coming up!

We won't be going too far this year.... much to my dismay.
We had a lot of vacations last year, and we have a lot of reno's we'd like to get working on so money will be going to that.
We have a weekend ski trip planned in a month to the local hill for hubby's birthday/valentines day.
Other than that it will likely be "camping" with his family in the northern part of the province. His dad owns a quarter section of land in the middle of the forest, we've moved some bunk houses in and we go camp and quad and fish. It's a good time. I say "camping" because we have power, and normal beds, and a shower house and all that. It's such a good time though!
We were talking about going down to Cozumel for our 5/5 anniversary, but our friends want us to come to Chicago and even want to pay for our plane tickets as an anniversary gift.. so I guess we're going to Chicago! I've never been, so I'm pretty excited about that.
Other than that we plan on doing some more camping this summer around Colorado.
Our friends are getting married next month in Minnesota, so we'll go to that. We have some other friends getting married north of Seattle in August... we'll see how I'm feeling at the time, not sure if I want to be that far from home and 7 or 8 months pregnant. :-/

No actual vacations planned, but we have two out of town weddings in May. One is on our anniversary (May 5th) in Charleston, SC. DH is in it, so he'll definitely go and I won't go to the wedding (no babies allowed). I may or may not go to Charleston for the weekend- it depends on the whole baby thing since I have no idea how I'll feel or how she'll be.
One of my best friends is getting married in LA, and hopefully we'll go to that one as a family. But, if we can't swing it, I will probably go by myself for the weekend.
I'm hoping to go somewhere as a family in the fall, but again nothing is definite. Not sure where we'd go!
We're planning on going to New York in May for our 1 year anniversary for a weekend. We're hoping to do a bed and breakfast and spend 2 nights and 3 days exploring the city. We're taking a mega bus up too. Trying to save some money, but want to do something special. I think we're going to try for St. Martin's next year though!
Our friends are getting married in September, but I don't know if we're going or not since invites are not out yet. They were at our wedding and we know them well, but it all depends on their wedding size.
We're moving this summer too...ugh...
This year in May we're heading down to the states for a small anniversary trip to Portland ME and Boston, MA. We'll probably head down south for a week when the weather starts getting cold here in November, we have been to Mexico and Jamaica in the past so I think we will try Dominican this time.
We have five years of travel planned out with automatic transfers going to our savings accounts to hopefully cover the trips, we want to see as much of the world as we can before we start TTC. Yay travels!
We went to Destin for our honeymoon! It was perfect! We had so much fun I have been there several times but H had never been so it was great for me to be like his tour guide. You will love it and have so much fun! If you need any ideas of places to eat or things to do let me know!
I tend to forget that people might not know what it means. I don't know many people around here who actually refer to it as the Upper Peninsula, it's always been The UP. It truly is one of my favorite places and I highly reccomend it for a vacation, so many things to do and see!
I think DH and I need a vacation after what we've had to go through already this year
My Dad's pushing for us to go away...he thinks we need to plan something fun to look forward to. Maybe we'll go somewhere for our 1 year but as of now nothing has been planned.

Actually we are leaving for Venice, Fl with hubby's grandparents next wed
Driving down and stopping in Rock Hill, SC wed night..then St Augustine Fl Thurs..then Venice on friday when they get the keys to their condo for the month 
We fly back then that tuesday next week....so basically a week vacation but in multiple places haha
Im super excited though...totally need this vacation and yeah its gonna be a little weird and prolly a bit boring..till we can do stuff we wanna do..but hey...free trip..hell yea...inlaws bought the plane tickets back as our christmas gift so can't complain there
Im just looking forward to the warmer weather and just walking along the beach and enjoying the sunshine and waves etc...what we didnt get on our honeymoon
For our 1 yr..we trying to plan a trip to NC...charlotte area for Nascar stuff for a day or 2...then rent a cabin in Asheville
But it might just become a mini weekend vacation and just do southern ohio or michigan etc...we shall see

We're planning on going to H's cousin's wedding in Orlando FL in May and then taking another short trip in the fall. We usually go to Maine, but I'm hoping we can work out going south to Philly, DC & NYC to visit some friends. Unfortunately no big trips for us as we're saving for a house... as much as I'd love a warm beach and fruity drink right now!
